Who am I

My name is Alma Claudia Cosenza, and I am an Italian photographer. My documentary work focuses on socio-cultural themes through long-term projects aimed at witnessing, exploring, and sharing stories that encourage reflection and understanding. I see images as tools to study and communicate how visual narratives shape our perception of the world.

My approach is informed by an academic background in Sinology, Sociology, and International Relations, complemented by professional training in visual language and photographic techniques. I have lived and worked in China and Southeast Asia, gaining deep insight into these cultural and social contexts.

Alongside my personal projects, I collaborate with independent brands and cultural institutions, supporting them in the development of brand identities and communication strategies, from concept to final execution, always with attention to meaningful storytelling and cultural sensitivity.
