TIERRAS

TIERRAS is born from a state of disorientation and suspension. The artist arrives in these natural territories suspended between unanswered questions and anxieties generated by the frenzy of contemporary society, with the feeling of having lost her way and her connection to herself.

In these rarefied places, where the sound of the sea is so powerful that it erases every other noise and amplifies a distance that is both physical and inner, urgency and inner chaos dissolve into the silence of untamed Nature. Here, there seems to be nothing to resolve—only space to breathe and to pause.

Black and white remove attention from color, allowing shades of gray to penetrate the gaze like water soaking into arid ground. Light and darkness measure themselves within space, creating depth and suspension and opening the way to the experience of primordial time.

Plants and landscapes emerge as autonomous presences, silent answers to the artist’s suspended questions. Forms bending to the wind, stems opening toward the sky, vegetal bodies that endure without yielding speak of determination, coherence, and fulfillment.

Their presence invites us to root ourselves in our breath, to rediscover who we truly are, recognizing our place within the single great ecosystem to which we belong: Nature, guardian of stillness, truth, and transformation.
